What the standard covers

Offsetting only means something if the removal can be verified. CPRS is the standard that makes that verification possible: it defines how plastic waste removal is measured, documented and independently audited, so a claim of plastic neutrality rests on evidence rather than assertion.

Audited independently. CPRS is audited by Control Union Certifications, an accredited third party. The audit covers the chain from collection through to processing.

Published and open. CPRS is a published, open standard. Anyone can read the protocol and apply it, including organisations running their own plastic removal operations independently of Depollute Now.

Tied to real material. Every certificate traces back to a measured quantity of plastic that was collected and processed, not to a projection or an estimate.

Offset with a verified standard behind it

Plastic Removal Packages are certified against CPRS, so what you fund is measured and audited.
